AKMU has revealed a new profile picture after moving to a new agency.

On the 3rd, AKMU shared a post on their official SNS account stating, "‘Center of Inspiration’ is a new shelter for AKMU" along with the new profile picture.

The photo features Lee Chan-hyuk and Lee Su-hyun gazing at the camera with chic poses and expressions. Notably, Lee Su-hyun caught attention with her noticeably slimmer appearance, suggesting she has succeeded in her diet.

Previously, Lee Su-hyun revealed that she successfully lost weight through exercise and dietary control without using diet supplements like Wigobi. She aimed for a healthy diet by cutting out spicy foods like malatang and tteokbokki and consistently running.

Running, an Effective Calorie-Burning Exercise... Beginners Should Start with 2-3km at a Slow Pace

The exercise chosen by Lee Su-hyun, running, is a representative aerobic exercise effective for weight loss. Running for 30 minutes can burn about 300-500 kcal. Especially, due to the 'afterburn effect', body temperature and metabolism remain elevated for a certain period after exercise, allowing for continued energy expenditure.

Additionally, running allows for easy adjustment of exercise intensity, making it accessible for both beginners and experienced runners. However, beginners should prioritize maintaining pace and stabilizing breathing over speed. Pushing too hard or running for extended periods can lead to injuries.

If you are new to running, it is advisable to start with a slow run of 2-3km. Since repetitive impacts can occur on the knees, ankles, and hips while running, choosing the right running shoes and stretching is essential.

Spicy Malatang and Tteokbokki That Hinder Dieting

Lee Su-hyun stated that she also managed her diet to lose weight. Malatang, which she refrained from, is a spicy, salty, oily food that is high in calories. Tteokbokki is a representative high-carbohydrate and high-sodium food, making it likely to hinder weight loss. Simply avoiding these two foods can significantly help in reducing weight.

If you, like Lee Su-hyun, are combining diet management with exercise, it is advisable to consume carbohydrate-rich snacks such as bananas, sweet potatoes, or plain yogurt before exercising to replenish energy. Immediately after exercising, consuming protein along with a small amount of carbohydrates, such as eggs, tofu, or chicken breast, can aid in muscle and stamina recovery.
