Refusal of Unauthorized Email Collection

Policy Information

We refuse to allow email addresses posted on this site to be collected without authorization using email collection programs or other technical devices. Please be aware that violations are subject to criminal punishment under the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc.

Relevant Laws

Article 50-2 of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc. (Prohibition of Unauthorized Collection of Email Addresses, etc.)

• ① No one shall collect email addresses using a program or other technical device that automatically collects email addresses from an internet website where the intention to refuse the collection of email addresses is explicitly stated.
• ② No one shall sell or use for commercial purposes any email addresses collected in violation of Paragraph 1.

Penalty Provisions

Violations are subject to a fine not exceeding 10 million won. (Article 65, Paragraph 3, Subparagraph 2 of the same Act)
