Actress Park Ha-sun (38) revealed her management diet for the awards ceremony dress.
Park Ha-sun recently posted on her SNS, "I have to wear a dress for dinner! I’ve eaten too much at restaurants for a few days, right? A high-protein diet starting from 3 days ago," along with a photo.
The posted photo shows a salad that Park Ha-sun seems to have eaten for lunch. Park Ha-sun introduced each salad ingredient, including butterhead lettuce, egg whites, soft tofu, and cucumber. She chose olive oil and concentrated balsamic for the dressing.
She also shared a tip, saying, "It’s better to eat with chopsticks instead of a fork; it makes it more enjoyable." She has previously confirmed her height as 163cm and weight as 47kg on a past broadcast.
Low-Calorie, High-Satiety Salad... Important to Control Dressing Amount
The salad that Park Ha-sun ate is advantageous for weight management as it is low in calories but high in moisture and dietary fiber, providing a great sense of fullness and minimal blood sugar fluctuations. First, the butterhead lettuce in the salad is a vegetable that is soft and high in moisture, making it easy to eat without much chewing effort.
When cucumber and cherry tomatoes are added, the calorie content becomes even lower relative to the volume, while the crunchiness and freshness increase, enhancing meal satisfaction. Blueberries provide antioxidants and natural sweetness even in small amounts.
Next, egg whites and soft tofu are protein sources that are low in fat and quickly absorbed. They can be consumed smoothly without burden and also add to the feeling of fullness. The combination of olive oil and balsamic chosen as dressing helps with the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins and provides quality fats. However, since olive oil is not low in calories, it should be limited to 1-2 teaspoons.
Good additional ingredients include a small amount of nuts or seeds. Adding a few almonds or walnuts, or a small amount of chia seeds or flaxseeds can complement healthy fats and minerals, increasing satiety. If you want to boost protein further, foods like chicken breast, salmon, or chickpeas are good choices.
Eating with Chopsticks Instead of a Fork Helps Prevent Overeating
Meanwhile, eating salad with chopsticks instead of a fork allows you to take smaller bites at a time, enabling a longer meal duration. The brain starts to recognize fullness signals about 15-20 minutes after food intake, so the slower you eat, the quicker you will feel full even with the same amount of food.
However, when eating salad with chopsticks, it’s better not to cut the vegetables too finely. The larger the size is maintained, the more chewing occurs, which helps in forming a sense of fullness. It is also effective for controlling intake to serve the dressing separately on a plate rather than mixing it beforehand, allowing you to dip the vegetables with chopsticks.
