Actress Han Groo shared her secrets for managing her figure. After giving birth to twins, her weight increased to 60 kg, but she later drew attention for losing it down to 42 kg through consistent effort.

Recently, a video titled “I bought it on Temu for 5,000 won and it changed my quality of life... I should’ve bought it sooner” was uploaded to the YouTube channel “Because It’s Groo.”

In the video, Han Groo introduced items she cherishes and held up a bodysuit. She said, “People keep asking me where I bought it. I got it for 9,000 won. When I’m dieting, I wear bodysuits a lot.”

She continued, “When you wear a bodysuit, you can see in real time if your stomach is sticking out, so you pay attention to it. Just being aware and tightening your stomach activates your abs,” adding, “That’s why people say not to wear comfortable clothes when you’re dieting.”

Wearing form-fitting clothes can make ‘eye-body’ tracking easier

Like Han Groo, if you prefer clothes that fit closely to your body, it can be easier to notice changes in your shape right away, which may help with weight management. This approach is often called “eye-body,” a blend of “eyes” and the body composition analyzer InBody (InBody). It refers to visually checking your body for changes in your physique without relying on a scale or other tools.

Using eye-body tracking can help you avoid fixating on the number on the scale and instead focus on visible changes in your shape. You may also feel a sense of accomplishment as you see your figure change day by day. For a more objective comparison, check the mirror or take photos at the same time each day, in the same lighting, and in the same pose.

Han Groo said that simply wearing a bodysuit and tightening her stomach activates her abs. In practice, the habit of bracing your abdomen can support core stability. However, it has limitations when it comes to meaningfully strengthening the abdominal muscles or reducing belly fat, so it’s important to combine strength training, aerobic exercise, and a balanced eating plan.

Wearing it for long periods may affect circulation…choose breathable materials

That said, there are a few things to keep in mind. Wearing tight clothing such as bodysuits or leggings for long periods may affect blood circulation or cause skin irritation. In particular, if the fabric doesn’t breathe well, sweat can build up and increase the risk of skin issues.

Therefore, if you plan to wear it for extended periods, choose materials with good stretch and breathability. Also, checking your body shape too often can lead to stress or self-criticism, so an obsessive habit of checking multiple times a day is not recommended.
