Fitness YouTuber JJ (40) revealed her bikini-clad figure in a snowfield.

On the 27th, JJ posted on her SNS, "The best sauna. While my whole body was sore from exercising in the cold, I experienced the best barrel sauna. The inside of the sauna is over 100 degrees, and outside it's minus 13 degrees, but later I felt no cold at all, just pure refreshment! This is truly a direct train to sweet sleep," along with a photo.

In the photo, JJ is wearing a brightly colored bikini and enjoying the sauna. She boldly posed in the snowfield while wearing the bikini, showcasing her stunning figure.

Barrel sauna with internal temperatures exceeding 100 degrees is great for relieving muscle soreness after exercise

The barrel sauna that JJ experienced is a traditional sauna that exposes users to high temperatures within a cylindrical wooden structure, inducing an increase in body temperature and sweating. The internal temperature can rise to 90-110 degrees, allowing for a strong thermal stimulus even in a short time.

In such a high-temperature environment, peripheral blood vessels dilate, promoting blood circulation and relieving tension in muscles and joints, which can help alleviate muscle soreness and fatigue. However, entering a sauna over 100 degrees immediately after high-intensity exercise can excessively raise body temperature and heart rate, potentially hindering recovery.

Therefore, it is advisable to take a break of at least 20-30 minutes after exercising before using the sauna briefly. If the goal is recovery after exercise, it should be limited to 5-10 minutes at a time, and adequate hydration is essential.

Promotes waste elimination, providing refreshment and aiding deep sleep

As JJ mentioned, barrel saunas can also have a positive impact on sleep. Exposure to high temperatures temporarily raises core body temperature, and after finishing the sauna, the gradual decrease in temperature allows the parasympathetic nervous system to dominate.

This cooling process is similar to the natural pre-sleep body temperature rhythm, which can reduce the time it takes to fall asleep and make it easier to enter deep sleep. However, using a sauna over 100 degrees right before bed or within 30 minutes of going to sleep can increase heart rate and alertness, potentially disrupting deep sleep, so it is advisable to finish the sauna 1-2 hours before sleeping.

Additionally, after using the sauna, increased endorphin secretion and muscle relaxation can lower psychological tension, reducing anxiety and irritability. Increased blood flow and sweating can improve complexion, and the elimination of waste can provide a refreshing feeling.

Sudden exposure to cold environments after high-temperature sauna can cause significant blood pressure fluctuations... caution is needed for those with vascular diseases

One point to note is that, like JJ, suddenly going from a high-temperature sauna to a cold environment can cause blood vessels to constrict rapidly, leading to significant blood pressure fluctuations, which may result in dizziness or, in severe cases, fainting.

Therefore, after using the sauna, it is necessary to gradually lower body temperature indoors rather than immediately exposing oneself to the cold outside, and cold showers or exposure to the outside air should be done briefly and gradually for safety.

Especially for those in middle age or with a history of hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, or cerebrovascular diseases, such extreme temperature differences can be more dangerous, so it is advisable to avoid such practices or consult with medical professionals beforehand.
