Daegu Fatima Hospital has earned Grade 1 ratings across three key medical quality evaluations conducted by the Health Insurance Review & Assessment Service (HIRA), showcasing the clinical excellence of regional comprehensive secondary general hospitals.
The hospital received top marks in all three major categories: the 11th Acute Stroke Adequacy Assessment, the 5th Patient Experience Assessment, and the Drug Benefit Adequacy Assessment.
Most notably, Daegu Fatima Hospital posted a near-perfect score of 99.96 points in the Acute Stroke Adequacy Assessment, well above the national average across all evaluated medical institutions. This score earned the facility the "Best-in-Class Add-on Institution" designation—an honor awarded exclusively to the top 20% of evaluated medical facilities—signaling a level of acute stroke care that meets or exceeds many tertiary general hospitals.
Patient satisfaction metrics were equally strong. Daegu Fatima Hospital ranked first among general hospitals in the Daegu and North Gyeongsang region for the third consecutive round in the Patient Experience Assessment. Additionally, it extended its streak of earning Grade 1 marks in the Drug Benefit Adequacy Assessment to 14 consecutive rounds.

The evaluation demonstrates that regional secondary general hospitals can remain fully competitive through robust clinical systems and patient-centered services, allowing local residents to receive top-tier medical care close to home.
