Medytox announced on the 25th that China’s National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) has granted product approval for its hyaluronic acid dermal filler, Neuramis Deep Lidocaine. The product will be commercialized in the Chinese market under the brand name Fillux (Fillux Deep Lidocaine).
Hainan Steou Investment Co., Ltd. will serve as the exclusive distribution partner for the expansion into China. This builds upon a 2024 arrangement in which Hainan Steou secured exclusive agreements to export Medytox’s flagship hyaluronic acid (HA) filler, Neuramis, alongside Newlux—a botulinum toxin formulation developed by Medytox affiliate NewMeco.
Collaborating with Sinopharm, China’s largest pharmaceutical enterprise, Hainan Steou aims to aggressively scale local marketing and distribution networks to maximize the product's market reach.
Neuramis is an independently developed hyaluronic acid filler that has established a global footprint across more than 30 countries since its initial debut in 2013.
“We intend to advance further regulatory approvals to expand our filler lineup during the fourth quarter of this year,” a Medytox official stated. “By offering an integrated portfolio of both botulinum toxins and hyaluronic acid dermal fillers, we will maximize commercial synergies in the Chinese market.”
