Blackpink's Rosé shared her thoughts and secrets after being ranked first in the 'World's Most Beautiful Face'.
On the 30th, an interview video with Rosé was released on Elle Korea's YouTube channel. In the video, when asked, “What’s the secret to being selected as the most beautiful face in the world in 2025?” Rosé shyly replied, “I’m so embarrassed. I don’t really understand this. It doesn’t make sense, but I’m very grateful.”
She continued, “What’s the secret? Well, I eat delicious food every day to fill my joy and keep a bright smile,” adding, “Since it’s winter, I’m really into strawberries. I also eat a lot of squid. I love squid.”
Last month, Rosé ranked first in the '2025 World's Most Beautiful Face' list announced by the American film site TC Candler. Blackpink's Jisoo ranked 11th, Lisa 22nd, and Jennie 46th, with many K-pop stars making the list.
Rosé boasts an oval face with white, elastic, and sparkling skin. While using good cosmetics is important, eating good food also serves as a tonic for the skin. Strawberries and squid, which Rosé enjoys these days, can help with antioxidant properties, hydration, elasticity, and regeneration, making them a great combination for overall skin health.
Meanwhile, Rosé was nominated for 'Best Pop Duo/Group Performance' at the 68th Grammy Awards held in Los Angeles on the 2nd (Korean time) for her collaboration with Bruno Mars on the song 'Apartment', but did not win.

Benefits of Strawberries for the Skin
Strawberries are a great fruit for winter skin care as they are good for antioxidants, whitening, and collagen synthesis.
Strawberries are rich in vitamin C. Vitamin C helps with collagen synthesis, which is important for maintaining skin elasticity and preventing fine lines, and it helps slow down skin aging by reducing reactive oxygen species caused by UV rays and stress. Additionally, strawberries contain many antioxidants like polyphenols, which affect the melanin production process, alleviating blemishes and dark spots, and brightening dull skin tone. They are also high in moisture and dietary fiber, which can lower overall inflammation and support gut health, indirectly benefiting trouble relief and skin condition maintenance.
However, strawberries are acidic, so if you have a weak stomach, it’s best to avoid excessive consumption on an empty stomach. If you have allergies, start with a small amount to check for reactions.
When buying strawberries, look for those with a strong sweet aroma, bright green caps, uniform red color, shiny surfaces, and a plump appearance.

Benefits of Squid for the Skin
Squid is a good ingredient for the skin in terms of elasticity, regeneration, antioxidant properties, and protein supply.
Squid contains peptides that are involved in collagen production, helping with the health of skin, hair, nails, and joints, and is effective in maintaining skin elasticity. The combination of squid's collagen, omega-3, and antioxidants is known to help reduce signs of skin aging and prevent damage. Zinc and vitamin E in squid provide antioxidant effects and support skin regeneration, elasticity maintenance, and anti-aging. In particular, zinc is an important mineral for wound healing and skin barrier function, making it beneficial for recovering from post-trouble marks.
Additionally, squid is a low-calorie, high-protein food, which is good for maintaining muscle mass and weight management, and this can indirectly have a positive effect on skin condition through hormonal and metabolic balance. Ingredients like taurine and omega-3 are related to fatigue relief, blood circulation, and anti-inflammatory effects, which can also help with blood flow and nutrient supply to the skin.
While squid's protein and minerals are beneficial, when consuming it frequently, it’s safe to reduce excessive salt and oil (frying, butter grilling, etc.) during cooking, and if you have gout or kidney disease, it’s important to stick to appropriate intake levels. The purines and uric acid metabolism in squid can put a strain on gout and kidneys.
Delicious fresh squid should have a transparent and shiny body, and the skin should peel off easily. It should have good coloration, elasticity, and a subtle, clean sea smell. Dried squid should be evenly dried without cracks, firm, heavy, and packaged with a recent date.
