GC Wellbeing Launches ECM Skin Booster ‘GCELLE Ribonne’

GC Wellbeing announced on the 25th that it has officially launched "GCELLE Ribonne" in Korea, a skin booster based on human tissue-derived extracellular matrix (ECM).

The brand name "GCELLE" combines "GC," the English initials of Green Cross, with "Elle," the French word for "she."

According to GC Wellbeing, the aesthetic market is currently evolving. It is moving from a filler-centered “volume enhancement” stage and a skin booster-based “regeneration induction” stage toward ECM-based treatments that directly restore tissue structure.

GCELLE Ribonne, introduced as part of this shift, is an ECM booster based on human acellular dermal matrix (hADM), a material derived from human tissue. The company stated that while conventional skin boosters take an indirect approach by stimulating collagen production, this product directly delivers the ECM structure itself. This provides a scaffold for tissue remodeling, offering the potential for more fundamental regenerative effects.

Kim Sang-hyun, CEO of GC Wellbeing, said, “GCELLE Ribonne is not simply a skin booster, but an ECM-based product aimed at regenerating skin structure.” He added, “As the aesthetic market is reshaped from a function-centered approach to a structure-regeneration-centered approach, we will set a new standard and continue to strengthen our competitiveness in the global market as well.”
